Q. How do I transfer calls from station to station?
A. Place calls on hold, touch “hotline key” or dial station to receive call and hang up.
Q. How do I transfer calls directly into VOICE-MAIL?
A. Place call on hold, touch the “Voice Mail” key, touch “hotline key” for the station if available, or dial station and hang up.
Q. How do I change TIME on the system?
A. Touch “CALL 1”, dial 828, enter the password; 0000, enter date as follows; YYMMDD, enter the day of week with Sunday = 0 and Saturday = 6, and enter the time in 24 hour format as follows; HH MM, and hang up.
Q. How do I program SPEED DIAL numbers (One Touch Keys) non-lighted?
A. Touch “CALL1”, dial 855, touch the key you want to program, dial 9 and touch MIC key dial number to be stored, touch “HOLD” twice and hang up.
Q. How do I program “hotline keys” (Function Keys) lighted?
A. Touch “CALL1”, dial 851, touch the key you want to program, dial 1058, dial the station number to be stored touch SPK.

Q. What does the “FLASH” key do?
A. Restarts dial tone for line you are using, or (if service is provided) initiates 3 way calling and call waiting.
Q. How do I make CONFERENCE calls?
A. Place or answer the first call. Touch CONF key and place the next call, Touch CONF key and place the next call, repeat this process until all conferees are called, (max 7) touch CONF twice to connect all parities. (for best quality conference calls use the three way-calling feature in conjunction with this feature.
Q. How do I adjust the brightness on the DISPLAY?
A. While the phone is in the idle state, touch the up or down arrow keys on the volume control feature at the bottom of the set until the display is set properly.
Q. How do I adjust RING volume?
A. For ringing volume, touch the “CHECK” button at the top of the phone and then touch one of the volume control keys at the bottom of the set. Touch SPK twice.
Q. How do I change the NAME on the display?
A. CALL1 + 800 + HOLD, Touch appropriate number on Keypad. (2=A-C, 3=D-F, 4=G-I, 5= J-L  6=M-O,  7=P-S,   8=T-V, 9=W-Z), # accepts an entry (only needed if two letters on the same key are needed). pressing # again =space.
CONF - Clears the character entry one character at a time. 
CLEAR- Clears all the entries from the point of the flashing cursor and to the right.
When new name is programed touch HOLD hear confirmation tone.
Q. What is a C.O.?
A. C.O. stands for central office and refers to the dial tone line that is installed by your service provider. The line is normally terminated on a network interface so it can be segregated from the customer owned phone equipment. Programming such as, line hunting, call waiting, 3 way calling, call forwarding, etc is done by your service provider. (Ma Bell) .
Q. What is a STATION?
A. A “Station” or “Extension” is assigned to a telephone set and used by your system to communicate with other stations or C.O. lines (for outside calling). Programming for a station is stored in your phone system.
Q. How do I CLEAR LINES that show busy but no one is on them?
A. Because the HOLD key is also used for transfer function, if a call is mishandled the system will tie two lines together. To release the lines, touch one of the line keys. Dial *3 and hang up. (note: user training will eliminate this problem).
Q. How can you make a phone RING for internal calls (INTERCOM)?
A. Touch CALL 1 and dial 823. For “voice announce intercom” touch CALL 1 and dial 821.
Q. How do I FORWARD my phone?
A.

To another station or voice/mail: touch CALL1 dial *2, 4, dial extension number to receive your calls or touch the voice-mail key if going to voice-mail. To CANCEL: CALL 1, *20.

To an outside number: CALL 1 *469 dial the area code plus number to receive calls. HOLD SPK
To CANCEL: CALL1 *4

VOICE MAIL

Q. How do I set up my voice mail GREETING?
A. Touch your voice mail key and touch “G” for greeting. Touch “R” to record a greeting and follow the prompts.
Q. How do I set up my voice mail NAME?
A. Touch your voice mail key and touch “RN” for record name. Touch “R” to record and follow the prompts.
Q. How do I CHECK VOICE MAIL MESSAGES when away from the office?
A. If your company has a “Back Door” number that connects directly to voice mail then you can call the number and when the recording starts you can dial “#” and follow prompts. If you DON’T have a “Back Door” number, call your office, ask to be transferred to extension 600 dial # and follow the prompts.
Q. How do I setup message notification?
(the system will contact you when there is a message in your mailbox)
A. Touch your voice mail key and touch “OP” for mailbox options. Touch “N” for notification and touch “S” for a summary or “A” to activate a notification group or “M” to modify a group. Follow the prompts to enter the notification number.
Q. How do I put in a security code and how can it be removed?
A. Touch your voice mail key and touch “OP” for mailbox options. Touch “S” for security
Q. How do I forward a message from one mailbox to another?
A. While listening to the message dial mf(63) # dial mailbox to receive the message and #.
